Rhiannon is an experienced physiotherapist with a particular interest in helping people regain their confidence, mobility, balance and independence following surgery, illness or a decline in function.
A Hills local, Rhiannon has worked as a physiotherapist for almost 20 years, with much of her career spent in Perth’s private hospitals. This has given her considerable experience supporting patients through post-operative rehabilitation, including helping them safely return to walking, everyday activities and the things they enjoy most.
Rhiannon also has a strong interest in balance rehabilitation and falls prevention. She enjoys working with older adults to improve their strength, stability and confidence, helping them remain active and independent within their homes and community.
Having completed further training in cardiac and respiratory rehabilitation, Rhiannon is highly skilled in developing safe, appropriately paced management programs for people recovering from, or living with, heart and lung conditions.
Her experience also includes additional training in continence and women’s health physiotherapy. She has spent several years teaching antenatal and postnatal exercise classes and supporting women to return to exercise safely following pregnancy and childbirth.
Rhiannon brings a practical, encouraging and individualised approach to physiotherapy. She understands that every person’s circumstances and goals are different and works closely with her patients to make rehabilitation feel achievable and relevant to their daily lives.
Outside the clinic, Rhiannon enjoys going to the gym and playing netball in the Kalamunda District Netball Association competition. Much of her weekend is spent supporting her three children at their various sporting activities throughout the local community.
