Exercise helps with dementia and cognitive impairment

Professor Mark Elkins, APAM, chats with Professor Marco Pang, from the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, about the value of exercise in improving the lives of people with cognitive impairment and dementia.

Marco shares important findings from the systematic review published in Journal of Physiotherapy, in particular, that supervised multimodal exercise has beneficial effects on improving physical functioning in people with cognitive impairment and dementia.
